Started this 2 days ago and finished it yesterday, what an awesome fucking book. Any recommendations for more like it, i.e. themes of intelligent microbial life and/or scifi-ish (unusual) pandemics? Also, what other stuff by Greg Bear is worth reading? Forge of God any good?
