Why? we just need to tell the racists who want DEI and/or ethnostates no and make a system that doesn't punish anyone for who they are.

I'm not as naive as you think I am and we largely agree on how hard making the government do anything of use is.
Personally I focus on doing and taking part in things that do good that I can make an impact on and leave the political sphere fuck itself up as it pleases.
