Perhaps it is merely the tint of nostalgia, yet I am inclined to believe that the artistic landscape has not reached such vibrancy since the era of Bloom. To be sure, there remain many whose works bear the roughness of inexperience, resembling at times the hand of a child; yet alongside them, there now emerges a wealth of truly remarkable creations. Moreover, it is heartening to observe a growing number beyond the immediate community contributing to this scene, whether through commissioned pieces or by happy accident.

Ever since SOL recognized that Terminal outclassed him, it has been nothing but decline. The drama ceased to be entertaining long ago; now it is merely pathetic and grating. He is no more consequential than a gnat upon the back of a horse—irritating, yet utterly insignificant. After every outburst, he declares he will act, and yet he never does. The world would doubtless be improved if he followed through, but it is plain he lacks both the courage and the will. It is nothing more than another tired attempt to snatch attention that his art alone cannot command. The irony, of course, is that his art is improving—yet few bother to look, for his endless noise has driven them away. Were he capable of silence and content to share only his work, he might find success. He would remain insufferable, to be sure, but at least tolerably so.
