Yeah people love to throw out Romney Christie and Cheney like some kind of graveyard warning but Don Bacon is not playing their game. Romney was too stiff Christie sold his soul too many times and Cheney made it personal with Trump instead of building a broader case. Bacon is different because he actually connects with his district he keeps his conservatism intact and he doesn’t come off like he is running for MSNBC applause. He can call out the circus without losing touch with real voters. The lesson from those three is not that resistance fails it is that style and delivery matter. Bacon is walking that line better than anyone else in the GOP right now.
