3/10. I spent 45 minutes the other day sifting through the mind control group for a Twiluna fic where Twilight does it to Luna, found one David Silver deadfic and had to settle for this Twidash instead.

Dash calls Twi "babe" in her first line of dialogue and that sets the tone for the whole thing. The characterization of both felt completely off for the entire story, but perhaps that's just the fetish porn tax getting collected. Speaking of, the mind control stuff also felt really weak. There didn't really seem to be any difference between it and them just RPing the whole thing instead. I guess taking away the rapey aspect of mind control really takes the wind out of its sails.

I've been chipping away at the deadfic. It's surprising how fun it is writing a WW1 tech era cruiser fighting an alicorn. I love tech vs magic. So much I'm even tempted to change the ending of the fight from allies Twilight made earlier in the fic destroying the cruiser while it's distracted by her to her just doing it herself.
