That blandness is what I feared from the get go. I've always enjoyed the Bethesda rpgs from Morrowind to about FO4, but Starfield indeed looked so bland and "loreless" for lack of a better term that I didn't even bother to keep tabs on it. On the plus side, it killed any would be hype for TES6
