- Changes of clothes for your stay
- Sketchbook and pencil if you draw
- Bathroom stuff (if flying and bringing them in a carry-on/personal item, make sure all liquids fit inside a 1-quart sandwich bag)
-- Toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant
-- Other toiletries you might use or need i.e. hairbrush, lotions, aftershave, prescription meds, shaving cream, razor
-- Hotels usually have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but bring a bar of soap if you're not a body wash guy
- Waifu plush
- Phone charger
- Empty water bottle (you can fill it up on the other side of TSA security) and snacks
- If you're bringing booze, make sure it's protected. I put bottles in 1-gallon freezer bags and pad them out with plastic grocery bags, then surround those with clothing.
- If you think you might buy stuff, leave room for that

If you want to bring prints/posters back, I recommend at least getting a shipping tube with caps. 2-inch diameter or wider is ideal.
My preference though, if you're bringing a suitcase and have the room to spare? Something flat, large, and rigid. The last few years I've used a trifold project board, cut lengthwise down the center and taped up on the sides/bottom to create a long art folder of sorts.
