I hate this too, and this is coming from someone who loves this series. The worst thing about that is when blade shoots down a Fermion bomb and it ends up destroying the HQ of earth defense forces, greatly crippling earth's capability to resist Radam forces. And we are supposed to think this as a good thing, because bombs original target was the Space ring, which destruction would have killed a coupe million civilians.
