As a PC gamer still, I'd recommend a PS5 bought on a sale/good deal since from crypto mining up to the pandemic / NVIDIA monopoly the PC market went literally FUBAR and it is still a "losing" bet against a PS, unless you like modding and fumbling around game. But for vanilla gameplay I'd say PS on a good deal.

Yes had this old GTX980 that handled game in 2K but i was getting stability issues lately. Yes I cleaned the card and re applied thermal paste and pads but it was always around 100% so I took a good chance to sell it for more money that its worth (due the shortages/high prices of new cards) and got the AMD card on a black friday deal. I hope things will settle down as I really want a new system but my one's still fine.
