anon 11.5 isnt for concealment or compactness, its literally just for shooting with a can and the overall length being similar to a unsuppressed 14.5 and also to not hang a heavy can to far in front of you. I think you are thinking about it wrong. Also as the other anon said there are compact buffer tubes. Ive got one and like it but its also sorta a meme and I shoot my 11.5 with a normal carbine buffer

DD will always be the standard for "good barrel" but G$ has been really good lately. Their taper profile + their recent accuracy performance makes them a no brainer. All of the anti G$ propaganda in the past is literally old hat silly billy stuff. They are peak rn, at least for barrels
