It starts weak and gets less weak as it progresses. It also switches characters out for CGI every time they have to do something slightly complicated even when the 2D animation shows it has the budget and talent to do things without devolving to Geek Toys B-team or pic related quality.

This is also what I'm talking about. The animation team is clearly budgeted and skilled enough to make this not look shitty, but they change to CGI to so much as show the autistic guy rollerskating from one end of a room to the other.
