It feels so bittersweet now that my house is empty. The two red collars resting on my dresser.
I remember being so proud of Matsun when he said he finally was given a chance to be a manga artist, it was sad seeing him go, he was my first human pet after all. I remember him hugging me and thanking me all the while for taking care of him, comforting him and just being there for him. I told him good luck and to live his life but if anytime he has hit rock bottom again, he can come back to me. He smiled and I took off his collar and see him off.

“I promise, you won’t need to anymore! I’ll work hard!” I see the energetic hope in his eyes as he leaves the house.

Show leaving was just as sad as well but I was also happy for him. He decided that it was best for him to just travel and live somewhere else. Somewhere to start anew. At first I was heartbroken, especially since I haven’t even kept him as a pet for a year but… what kind of owner would I be if I just forced him to stay here. Show hugged me, it was quite different compared to Matsun’s departure. He tries to comfort me saying that he would be ok, and that I was the best thing that has ever happened to him. As I took off his collar, he smiles and kisses my forehead.

“Thank you for everything.” He says as I see him entering the airport.

It felt so nice typing my human pet au again but damn… now that I fell out of love for one and the other graduated, what now?
