This is all done to mask that bosses and enemies in general in this game are simplistic as fuck. They all have like 2 to 3 easily baitable moves. There's barely any AI, the core gameplay is as complex as an NES game. If there were no retarded padding like runbacks or if enemies weren't damage sponges or you could get actually meaningful damage upgrades, it would all be laid bare. Troon Cherry are very insidious and deliberate with everything people complain about. They use bullshit as ammunition for drones. You see their dogshit game design for what it is? Nah, you are just not good. Dark Souls craze was one of the worst things that ever happened to gaming.
