In Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 in Singapore, on Tuesday, 20 October, 1987. 7:15 AM, a 30 year old Han Chinese man W. K. Ting was a shopkeeper and asleep with a 34 year old woman, a factory worker used a pair of scissors to snip his penis. He woke up feeling a sharp pain and she fled and threw the scissors down. He crawled and was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. It was reported on Friday 23 October 1987 and the woman was not caught.
