Noise, photobashing textures, pixel textures, general retro stuff.

If you're solely going to texture/substance paint I'd just auto-seam sharp edges, unwrap, average island size, pack islands, fiddle a bit to get decent texel density.
If you're going for very noisy retro textures you want nice, large flat areas, avoiding long islands, etc etc. A lot of people opt for the applied mirror modifier and under the ears seam, but unless you're using lightbakes and whatever you can just keep the mirror, lot of really nice looking PS2 games kept the mirror.
It's a whole subject.
