Ryan Elderberry, 33, says he can't find sulphur. The most common type of suplhur in space would likely be S8, meaning it contains 8 suplhur atoms intertwined into a molecule that looks like a hexagram by its physical representation if we could see a 2D construct made only from 8 atoms (its too small to see especially because sulphur atoms are much smaller than gold atoms)
On Earth we can see hydrogensulfide everywhere. But it wouldnt be able to whitstand coldness of space. Sulphur is 10th most common atom element in universe. But where is it? There is plenty on Earth though.
Also Mars soil seem to contain lot of rock that has sulphurous minerals in the mix.
New research onto gas clouds in space indicate there is 33% less sulphur then we have thought. Instead there are other gases like oxygen in plentiful amounts.
However suplhur is difficult to find because it eagerly combines with just about any chemical element it comes to contact with.
