Most streamers are middle class at worst. It's hard for actual legit poor people to devote the time it takes to build a career from nothing as a full-time online content creator. if you're throwing down 40 hours a week flipping burgers at Wendys you only have so much time and energy to advance a 2nd career. That's why most vtubers leech off their parents to start out with. Poorfags with poorfag parents can't really do that.
