WANT TO MOVE TO JAPAN? WARNING
I have been fighting the wall that divides Japan and the United States for almost 8 years now.
There is a strong nationalistic "patriotic spirit" in Japan that resists Christianity. The borders, however, tell a different story.
If you want to move to Japan, you need four things:
>An N1 or N2 jlpt certificate
>A visa
>A bachelor's degree
>Lots and lots of money
There's no way around it. There are entire groups of people that can't meet these strict requirements. I failed my pursuit of a bachelor's degree, why should my destiny not be able to take me to Japan? I'm now stuck with a $30,000 student loan with no future in Japan as of yet.
If you don't have lots of money, you slip through the cracks and look for alternative ways to move to Japan. Some choose illegal, which I urge you to not do.
I wrote to Trump asking him to make it easier for Americans to move to Japan, because this is bullshit. They don't even offer working holiday visas to Americans, so you can't even "try" the country.
If you're like me, desperate for a path to Japan, eventually you'll find out about the Promise. I warn you here, when people start watching you, they won't grant your wish. The only thing that makes your wish come true is to fulfill the promise. Keep it, no matter how long it takes.
