Alternatively, what if the Prophecy is not a one-time deal but actually a recurring cycle, and a new Ralsei gets created for each one? Perhaps his knowledge is left over from his previous incarnations, while his innocent attitude is left intact in order not to break him too soon. That'd mean that when the world is saved once more, Ralsei would serve his purpose and be discarded, unless he breaks the cycle somehow.
