They have a weakened connection to Creator, for whatever reason. Agreeing to play along with loyalty tests by repeating the lies in the collective narrative will make that weakness. Eventually repeating lies and waiting for more lies to repeat is all they know. They need others to pray for divine intervention on their behalf because they have lost the power to return to the Divine spark. They've become habitual liars and can't even tell the truth to themselves.
