No. Only certain food. The government should hand out food bars, bland square things which provide 100% of your daily nutrition. You scan your retinas and get one bar per day.
You shouldn't be able to go to the store and pick out anything you want. Food bars will be made with left-over subsidized foods by a government owned non-profit foundation that employs people who eat food bars and live in pods so it'll be nearly free to run the program.
