The Computer Science building appears to have roof access and is attached to the Veteran Success Center. I think the guy used the roof access and crossed over from the roof Veteran Center and took the shot from the Career Development Center. The angle of the shot and distance line up well. Plus could have escaped out of sight back to the computer science building. Not to mention the guy could be a student of Comp Sci which often have a lot of left leaning individuals in college.

A train station is also close to campus and could have been used for a quick escape.
