I wanna dress up as fischl and go to a public gathering of people made to look at people dressed up...

if I found a cool weapon mod, how hard it is to change the weapon it replaces considering it's the same weapon type?
my logic tells me that I should probably just change the ID of a weapon, but where and how tf should I change it?
