WNBA airball report #16: Fever vs. Aces

The game almost made it through the first quarter without an airball, but at the lest second of the quarter, the fever tossed one up to try and earn that last quarter basket and missed by about 20 feet. Score: Fever 1 - Aces 0. Not to be outdone and still in it, the Aces tossed up an airball from practically right under the basket that floated over the rim and hit nothing but air with 6:33 left to play in the 2nd quarter, tying it up with 1 apiece. The Fever came back strong in the 3rd with 7:24 left to play and tossed up yet another airball from pretty much right under the basket, taking 2-1 lead over the Aces. With time running out and the Fever up by one, the Aces dove deep within themselves to toss up the 4th and final airball of the game with 4:34 to play in the 4th, tying the score at 2 airballs each.
