>has God-Tier Goth aesthetics
>his actual character is that of a Saturday Morning Cartoon protagonist
>90% of his comics are repetitive schlock about MUH STREETS and MUH GUNS
Batman has been coasting off his looks throughout his entire existence. As a character he's entirely unengaging, the entire concept goes to waste, and he retreads the same exact beats in literally every story. I'll even go as far as to say that his villains are the exact same as well. Nobody changes or progresses, nobody even has anything new to offer. They're all just an origin story repeated again and again and again. Literally nothing happens, ever. Even compared to other capes Batman and his world are far too static. I think that's why he's such a hit globally; normalfags don't need to know anything. All eras are the same. All the beats can be covered in the span of a few movies. And every so often they remake those exact movies. And on and on it goes.

The man is the biggest crybaby on the planet. 95% of characters have
>MY PARENTS ARE DEAD
as a backstory. But Batman's the only one who never stops talking about it. We're talking about a grown man who won't fuck a bitch because he's thinking about his dead mummy and daddy and that's all depressing like. Cyclops saw his parents die in a plane crash and got stuck in an abusive orphanage. Spider-Man had his uncle die as a result of him. Doom's father froze holding him. And so on and so forth. Hell, Superman lost his entire civilization. But no, Batman has it the worst, so every few pages we need to be reminded that
>MUH PARENTS ARE DEEEEEEEAD
Christ.
