So is this it? Life is just going to keep getting worse forever? I’m 25 got the degree in computer science and got a job in the industry only to get laid off 4 years later during covid and stuck in retail like the rest of my generation. My parents advice is outright harmful and tell me I should just accept making 10 dollars an hour and never leaving home or doing anything? I didn’t get to do anything fun with my life like they did. They went the beach every weekend cross country trips to concerts and other crazy shit while I’m stuck worrying about if I’ll have enough gas and my car won’t break down. What the fuck is the point? I feel like I’m just wasting my finite anime, gaming, and hentai time. When the fuck are my efforts going to pay off?
