I remembered the weight wrong, but that is still the same weight as an IS-3.
My problem with it was it being massive in contrast to anything else you’d find at the field, making it a huge target. The thin side armor was very prone to flanking, and these things were designed to sit in combat for longer periods of time, hence the bulkiness for ammo storage.
Also of course something like an ISU-152 could go through the frontplate with a AP round
