Asa is not a perfect Mary Sue dude. She has been acting petty many times towards people. But she doesn't act on her emotions like a volatile crazy Devil does.
The point is that there is a Devil inside her that will act on those emotions. Yoru isn't about to let anyone walk over her. So it's a moot point to pretend as if Asa's gonna be a doormat for any other girl.
