In the Warhammer stories I've read there are regular dudes and they're ok with teaming up with aliens and stuff and then there's the inquisition and the Imperial cult who are almost always portrayed as somewhat paranoid extremists. Daemonifuge and Titan for example. It's not nearly as edgy as the memes.
