Although some would like to claim that the fall-off of bionicle began in 2008, I would posit that the data doesn't really reflect this. Although there are some changes which indicate that Bionicle was going to end soon, it still pushed forward for a few more good years in terms of unique molds and set numbers. I don't think bionicle "fell off" at least not slowly. It came to an abrupt halt in the year 2010 with the release of the pitiful stars sets.
