I think the real answer is that any real "list" has long since been scrubbed of authenticity and Pam Bondi, being a stupid woman with an exaggerated sense of self-competence, thought she had a smoking gun, only for her to flub the whole thing.
Trump is clean as a whistle - the idea that there's any criminal evidence against him is patently absurd when you look at the piss dossier, russiagate, stormy daniels, jan 6, butler assassination, the Epstein prosecutions and victims, etc. If he's covering for anybody, he's covering for Pam Bondi being an utter moron who trusted the FBI, because he doesn't want his deportation campaign (which she is currently administering) being ruined.
