Support has a low floor to do well on, and if you're coming from a laning perspective (most Support mains aren't) - then ye, it's the "easiest" role to climb on.
The moment you start layering macro into your gameplay - willingly (which most Supports don’t) - the role gets a bit harder.
Support is easy to perform on, but just like Jungle, it becomes one of the harder roles once you start caring about macro, vision setups, rotations, wave states, and tempo, while keeping your ADC in mind at all times. It demands knowledge that Supports aren’t taught.
I think it's very disingenuous for anyone to say that role is easy - it can be as simple or as complex as people decide to make it.
