ZZZ is worse than Genshin at both of these. You just get tricked because of the flashy cutscenes and comic panels (which have been getting fewer and fewer). 1/3 of the dialogue in ZZZ is just 2 characters looking at each other with the same 5 animations as you said. But it's worse, as a 1/3 of the main story dialogue in ZZZ isn't even voiced, and the final 1/3 happens as your playing the game, but has a 5 second gap between each line so you have to stop and wait around or artificially extend fights to hear it.
