Uma is just anime girls with ears and tail, a sports anime targeted towards teenagers and young adults. Also, this is actually a well made video game, alongside having a cool anime/movie/music etc.
MLP are literal cartoon ponies targeted towards little girls. The target demographic is literally little girls. This is just a children's carton.
Bronies also have an association with way more heinous acts. Trying to liken the two is just forced. This is more sailor moon meets hajime no ippo than the pony crap.
