I'm currently working with a Portuguese company
It's been 4 MONTHS and they still haven't managed to sign me up for the portuguese social security so they can give me a payroll and I could rent an apartment instead of living with my parents. They have had to fly me to Portugal so that I could help with the paperwork in person. Also I had to mail them a document and it took 1 fucking month and we had to make a complaint because it got stuck in Lisbon and it wouldn't move

What would we even gain by annexing Portugal nowadays? Absolutely nothing, just more land while half of Spain is already empty, and I guess some sea to fish and more housing problems
Portugal is literally the most valuable ally you could have. We are right next to each other, we share a lot of common history, we can both kind of understand each other and perfectly integrate into each other's culture. If one country was to go to shit the other would be there to support and help and maybe provide refuge. We are literally stronger as separated entities and should be cheering for them as an ally as much as possible
