i didnt like the reused environments from the campaign but i had a good time dicking around with friends on the forge maps a lot. the cage and reflection were a lot of fun on infection, and boneyard was a sick invasion map.
>art style
never liked the tacticool slop of ammo belts and grime on all of the equipment. most of the new helmets looked alright. ill take operator over hayabusa any day.
>story
if you dont care about minor retcons and don't read the gay lore books you probably dont have any problems with it. its good, has good one liners, cool set pieces.
>gameplay
competitively a mess but the changes did a lot for social games which is what i like anyways. forge was nuts, forge world was awesome. halo hasnt really felt the same since they turned forge fully into a tool for map makers instead of a toy for us to build and play within.
