The idea that Neichel may have uncovered an ancient secret that predates modern society is very intriguing.

I think Elfilis' arrival was what the people thought Neichel predicted, and that he arrived on the planet shortly after she sang it. She sang it again as the Spaceship New World left the planet, and it was heard throughout the galaxy, possibly drawing Genwel to arrive but the Starries delayed his arrival. Why would he wait all those years to finish the invasion his brother started?

I think Elfilis heard Neichel sing TWINKLING STAR SHOWERS the first time around, but it wasn't broadcasted that day. Elfilis has gigantic ears so I could see him being able to hear a song sang several lightyears away, not to mention his psychic mastery. What if Elfilin drove him to visit the planet? Elfilin is the reasoning center of his mind.
