But really I mean it was less but also you say that as if Simpsons peak wasn't from the start to the end of the 90s like early 00s simpsons is good and had it's place as well. I remember getting a bart plush at some carnival as a kid and their and a seeing them in those claw machines. I also remember them selling bart's skate board which in hindsight is kind of a rip off but still. Also a lot of their stuff became thing slike the video games and movies smaller merch like nicknacks etc and shirts. Shoot let's not forget the "cool" bart tees and hoodies that you saw at least 1 in 5 middle schoolers wearing in the early 00s.
