It's a stupid bait and switch game that might work on Trumps dumbass followers but will fall apart instantly in court. Obamas team will whip out all the weird and shady shit Manafort, Carter Page, Papadopolis, Flynn were up to in regards to the Russians and all the intelligence suggesting they conducted operations in regards to the election, then they'll whip out the multiple criminal cases that were filed for Russian operations - and nobody will be able to reasonable claim Obama was wrong to investigate it.
That's if it ever even comes close to trial, it would likely get thrown out due to Presidential immunity. I know copium addicts will sperg out about how "treason isn't an official act" but if you look at the past rulings of the current Supreme Court they are extremely skeptical of allowing outsiders to question an officials intent.
