At the moment I'm working on the theory that the whole zelensky bust up in the oval office and the subsequent Europe vs the US on Russia policy is all a set up.
It resulted in the the US falling into the role of neutral mediator, when they were in fact the largest instigator of events that led to the war.
It allows the Europeans to get their TDS programmable libshit middle classes to get behind supporting war (weird that, isn't it? No antiwar in Ukraine movements in the west?).
There's a attempt to get Russia to agree to what amounts to Minsk III (fell for it again award) and to steer the narrative away from a climb down by the west (Ukraine would be winning if Real™ sanctions were applied).
