for a lot of guns you dont need the accuracy version to get head shots, and i would only consider an ammo variant if i actually run out of ammo during operations.

in a practical test, the relic bolt pistol kills in 5 clicks, with an additional 6th click to kill. while the damage heavy bolt pistol takes 6 clicks and and additional two clicks to kill. plus the relic bolter gains an additional 25% damage on execute (50% vs heavy bolt pistol's 25%) and has the utility of hip fire accuracy, its a better pistol. heavy bolt pistol does have a damage boost on class skill use though.
