What this really is is another war of ideology. It’s the same old fight: interventionists vs. the so-called “evil” isolationists.

Look at the record. Vietnam, interventionists wrong, isolationists right. Iraq, wrong again. Syria, wrong again. Afghanistan, twenty years wasted, trillions burned, nothing to show. Every time, the people warning against getting dragged in were the ones proven right.

Blowback? Isolationists called it, 9/11 was the price for decades of meddling. Regime change? Libya turned into a slave market. Iran in the 1950s gave us the Islamic Revolution. Iraq gave us ISIS. Every intervention spawns the next disaster.

The pattern is obvious: the isolationists are the only ones who ever get it right, because they’re the only ones who actually learn from history instead of repeating it.

And interventionsist are afraid of losing to a "peace deal", they don't care about Ukraine or even Russia for that matter. because if that happens, it again proves the isolationists were right.
