I want to agree with you but we can't have pity because the Israelis started the war by bombing Iran. If they don't want their cities bombed and their people killed, they should try not murdering their neighbors.
And the fact that they are openly trying to bring the USA into their war so Americans can die instead of jews just makes it even more certain that empathizing with Israelis is objectively wrong. We can want peace all we want but that doesn't matter if Israelis still want to kill all their neighbors. Iran has a right to defend itself. As for me, I am not dying for Israel.

I'm a strict pacifist, but if I do make an exception it will be for draft officers. There's a strong argument to be had for the idea that it's a moral duty to make their job an unsafe one.
