Gregtech is a mod made by gregorious T that goes as far as GT1 as an IC2 addon. GT:NH (gaytech:new hormones) is the sewagechild of a clinically retarded russian (dreammoron) a Kevin-like figure with his cohort of dicksuckers on the same level of bloat and sycophants as DDA.
Greg as a whole gave up on GT5 so hard 10 years ago that he abandoned the project to develop GT6, which has only gotten fusion since 2020 and missed the 1.7 reinassance completely.
Greg doesn't have anything to do with gt5u, the version of gregtech that some random ass OTHER russian retard, bloodasp (née bloodass) who made it barely functional
GT5 was such an incomplete utter shitshow that the developer gave up on it, condemned it and started from scratch so a fanboy with no experience completely and utterly raped the concept of progression in the mod to add 15 tiers of voltage because it was so kewl and epic, and everyone who needed their gregtech fix (because it was THE mod at the time for 1.7, which was THE only mod version available at the time because mojang completely fucked any version between 1.7 and 1.12 when they got acquired by microsoft) had to rely on the only working version
in those 5 years of fame for 1.7 if you wanted to play gregtech you had to play a hyper-shitty and unpolished and barely working version of GT (feels just the same!) kept together with tape by a vatnik or you could play a barebones version of what would eventually become GT6
