Feel like space was one of the only times he had a decent chance of a fight since it was zero G since he was otherwise likely incapable of even lifting her given Diane really wasn't teaching him shit in sparing so he likely isn't capable of flapping a taller and larger opponent without larger prep involved. Honestly, I kinda wonder if you could see which shot he manages to actually snag the watch but given how in some scenes it's under the sleeve I feel it would probably not be shown.

His rips are likely fine, while he was hit Zero G likely made that blow a little less weighty kinda like how trying to hit someone in water works
