A lot of the interfaces are reminiscent of 80's/90's human computer and video game tech. The appearifier Rose uses looks like it was housed in an arcade cabinet. Seems like something a younger Mom would workshop.
And I think Grandpa would have transported/installed his company's tech into the game through his access to the medium.

I like to think that part of why Mom and Bro are such stealthy ninjas is because they came to learn that they were being watched through trollian or stalked by Condy.
Mom had an easier time avoiding her eyes due to her void aura, and used this advantage to take up brave roguish missions to sneak into her lairs and steal shit from her.
Bro would have had to learn to be a lot more hard to pin down, hiding in small places, moving quicker than can be tracked. Being offensive for the camera. Fighting off mafia-style goons that someone keeps sending after him.
I'm not sure if Condy would have been aware that her master was in his puppet, and whether that would scare her off or make her want to catch and destroy it.

B2 humans would have had their own adventures in battling Condy's spying, now with a First Guardian under her control. And I don't think they invented much of the tech - maybe Jade did, since she and Jake are the link between sides of the scratch - since they're the barren side of the session. But they must have eventually gotten the better of her, battled through the lusii on Jake's island, and explored the ruins. Dave clearly had access to an alchemizer, and then there's all the tech and lab equipment left for Roxy.
