>do tell haha.
>B^) Well, one idea I had more recently was around having something like a cyborg, but the reverse of what people expect. Instead of the brain being, well, a brain and the body being augmented with mechanical it bits it was going to be the inverse. The body is largely normal, flesh and bone, but most of the brain(brain stem, hypothalamus and pituitary glands remain) was replaced with a kind of computer. You'd also need a good power source and the idea I came up with to avoid the issue of needing to remote charge it(alternating magnetic fields aren't very good and also the devices would be conspicuous) was to have engineered tissue that would produce an electrical charge. Think electric eels, but with that tissue tucked away either as part of the synthetic brain with blood flowing through to supply it or elsewhere in the body and connected up to the brain. The blood flowing through the brain though could also be used for cooling, somewhat.
The main issue is with power consumption, as flesh brains are actually incredibly power efficient for their workings. It'd make the one Cold War concept of a spy cat actually viable, as one thing. Beyond that though it'd make for good spy movie stuff and I had ideas about a tyrannical overlord who rules over a feudal, medieval world where he has his own guards that have similar imparts as well as various mythical beasts and special agents he uses to watch over the realm.
