false story, this isnt what happens in the original judaistic texts
rather satan means adversary and ha-satan (THE satan aka THE ADVERSARY, in this case of the jewish people who are the protagonists of the text) is a title referring to an angel known as Samael, and he commands many minor angels that are also satans, and god gave the purpose of being the heavenly accuser to samael, and so he goes to the real world and attempts to test your faith, and if you fail then when you die he accuses you of moral failings in the heavenly court in front of god, then its up to you and god to figure out what happened.
he never fell from heaven, angels cannot defy god because they are god's minions.
anyway it is said that the snake in the garden of eden was samael's pet and that the angel that wrestled with jacob was samael. in the non-canon book of enoch (that is only considered canon in ethiopian jewish communities) samael was in fact one of the watchers (group of angels that watch mankind from heaven) that left heaven and went onto earth to rape human women and create the nephilim, and then all the watchers were eventually thrown into a part of heaven called the lake of fire where theyre burning and being stabbed by angels with tridents.
from the christian perspective the devil is also not real, the "tempter" that tempted jesus was samael, so that he can accuse him in the heavenly court, but there is an unrelated being in revelations that people conflate these two with, and the beast is instead meant to be a metaphor for nero, not a reference to isaiah, the isaiah chapter refers to a babylonian king and the planet venus, nothing to do with satan at all, but just a piece of literature/metaphor.
hell is also never mentioned in the bible, only an underworld (sheol) in the old testament and a hades in the new testament as well as a valley called gehenna.
