Women. I'm not even trying to be a chud. Overall I want women, and really just anyone to be able to enjoy vidya. But I call a spade a spade. Women largely pushed out the "boys club" mentality that female character models were for male player's enjoyment. So before a male dev would have just added in panties, now they know if they do that, there is someone in the company who will report them to HR. And the company is incentivized against it as well because now if it's found out, a woman wwho pretends to play video games and has a large social media following will chimp out about it because she has unresolved feelings about men and sexuality and takes it out on anything perceived as "for men."
