I'll always give some credit for the "feathered rex" idea because its a Coelurosaur. Pretty much every single non-tyrannosaurid coelurosaur either has feathers or a close relative with feathers, and even other large coelurosaurs do have evidence of feathers. Like deinocheirus or yutyrannus.
Regardless, rex doesn't have feathers.
